    What do we do?

    Preserve your valuable film memories

    North Valley Film takes your home movies in 8mm, Super8 or 16mm, Silent or Sound, and transforms them into Digital Media of your choosing: Portable Hard Drive or USB Thumb Drive.
    Our Film-to-Digital transfers are output in resolutions of HD to 2k.
    We utilize the same Film Scanner employed by the Academy of Motion Picture Film Archive in Los Angeles. 

    One Stop Shop

    Send us your film, and we’ll clean it, repair minor breaks and tears, and transfer the film, with minor color correction, to the media of your choice (Hard Drive or Thumb-drive mp4 files).


    We use mp4 files for distribution simply because it's a file type that is compatible with most Smart Televisions and computers.


    Multiple smaller reels will be combined onto larger reels for the process, and all reels will be returned to you with your order.

    Approximate Reel sizes, Footage and Run Times

    Footage will be billed according to your actual transferred film length, in feet, not reel size or run-time. Also, run times are approximate, and are dependent upon the frame-rate at which the film was shot.
